Last week 133 Youth were able to take part in the first YIN Global training organized by the YIN, thanks to Career Guide.
This activity, which lasted for two hours, allowed the Youth to
1) Identify their soft skills and discuss with other Youth (from India, Indonesia and the Philippines) why they were important
2) Receive constructive advice from a career coach on the best way to show their soft skills in a resume or a cover letter, and allow recruiters to know the Youth.
What else for the Youth?
> Always remember to be a critical thinker
> Write only what you can prove with examples
> One skill can be your weakness today, and become your strength in the future
And for the companies?
Time to consider soft skills as part of experience, Freshers can be astonishing!
